We are planning the 50th Anniversary Celebration for September 27, 2008 and we need your help! 

We are planning a dinner and party and would like to present the Fellowship with special gift.  Some ideas are:

• Name plates for original items in the Fellowship
• New piano
• Equipment for presentations
• New tables and chairs
• Light blocking shades for windows.

What we present will depend on how much money we raise.  If you have more ideas contact Roberta Roberson.  If you would like to donate to the fund contact treasurer Frank Myers.

We have several fundraising ideas:

• Garage sale in Sept. (start sorting your stuff)
• Game tourney’s (Euchre tourney July 11, 7pm
• Tours of the Fellowship and grounds
• T-shirt and tote bag sales

• Tell everyone you know that thinks that the UUFA is important to the community.
• Come to our meetings: July 8 and 22, 7pm at UUFA

Euchre Tournament to benefit
50th Anniversary Celebration
Friday, July 11th 7pm 
Come out and have some fun playing euchre and meeting new people.
$10 to play, half goes to 50th fund & half to be divided between 1st-3rd place winners.We will draw partners for each game and will call last game at 9:30pm. Refreshments will be available or BYOB.

To help fund the 50th Anniversary Celebration we are have available banner t-shirts and reusable tote bags.  The t-shirts and bags are both on natural cotton and have the full color banner image on the back and on the front with the chalice say: “Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Athens 50 years as a liberal religious voice of Southeastern Ohio” 
T-shirts are available in children’s sizes and adult’s S—5XL.  Prices are: children’s shirts—$15, adults—$25, and the totes $15.
