Summer 2005
Affectionately known as Vacation Bible School without the Bible, our first week-long children’s program was a success. Eleven children, ages 4 – 10, spent the week learning about the UU Purposes and Principles, getting active with social justice projects and having a good time getting to know each other. The program ran from 9am to noon everyday during the week of July 18, with a cookout and swim on Friday afternoon. Every day started with an appropriate chalice lighting, some of which came from UUs around the world.
